Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent work experience

Shift Timing: 2pm to 11pm
 
Experience: 3+ years
As a developer on our content management team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining new features for our in-house content management system. You will join our technology team as a key contributor, collaborating with product managers, QA engineers, and other engineering teams to design and execute solutions.
 
You will work at every layer of the stack, from designing and implementing our APIs, to working on our user interfaces, to implementing business logic, to designing our database and document schemas. You will leverage AI to perform these responsibilities faster and in new ways. And you will help support a culture of quality by working to a high standard and leading by example.

Responsibilities:
Design and implement new features at every level of our stack.
Collaborate with other development teams within the company to ensure our system integrates smoothly with the rest of the enterprise.
Participate in our transition to AI-first development across the entire SDLC, from requirements definition to testing and monitoring.
Perform code reviews of team members' work.
Participate in internal debates on system architecture, our external-facing API design, and our internal code design and structure.
Follow industry trends and stay informed of new technologies that might be beneficial to our work.
Ensure all code that goes to production is top quality.
Assist with production support and debugging as needed.

Position requirements:
3+ years professional experience in software engineering on multi-tier systems
Strong experience with object-oriented languages such as Java, C#, or PHP
Proficiency with SQL databases and document stores such as Solr
Experience working with system-level engineering (Linux), DevOps, CI/CD, and containers
Experience with Drupal or other open-source content management systems is highly desirable
Strong attention to detail with proven analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with both technical and non-technical audiences
